Tensioning and Rupture

By attaching the WOLTRONIC SNM to the tensioning end of the overhead line in the immediate vicinity of the tension wheel, the function of the tensioning wheel can be continuously monitored. A precise GPS sensor integrated in the device determines the position of the WOLTRONIC SNM. Herewith the smallest changes in position that do not correlate with temperature change can be detected and defects or sabotage can be quickly rectified.
