Vibration and System Design
Through system design and subsequent constructing of the overhead catenery systems, the system dynamics, i.e. mechanical vibration stability and vibration minimization, must be taken into account. Design or tensioning errors, particularly high vibration excitations due to wind or pantograph forces, can lead to harmful oscillations and vibrations.
Vibration Data
The WOLTRONIC SNM measures mechanical vibrations of the overhead line. A vibration sensor which is higly integrated in the device will take care of the measurements. The measurement data is compared with permissible vibration data so that a deviation can be detected at an early stage. The root cause is located easily and repairs of tensioning elements or optimized system planning is the consequence.
